Transforming Internal Learning: The ALAT & CBT Schemes

Under the revised ALAT scheme, employers can now utilize up to 50% of their levy balance to purchase training aids or renovate training rooms. Notably, the purchase of equipment is no longer restricted to a pre-defined HRD Corp list, provided the items are used solely for training and are relevant to the business.

In tandem, the Computer-Based Training (CBT) scheme now supports the subscription of e-learning platforms and LMS. E-learning claims have also been standardized at RM125 per hour, allowing for flexible, self-paced learning that fits into tight production schedules while still being fully reimbursable.
