Claiming Costs for Overseas Training, Seminars and Conferences

Course or seminar/conference fees are claimable “as charged” and must be converted to Malaysian Ringgit. Daily allowance is capped at RM1,500 per pax, and employers may request up to two extra days. Actual air-ticket costs are reimbursable upon submission of ticket stubs, e-tickets and travel-agent invoices.

All overseas claims are subject to a 50 % rate of financial assistance and HRD Corp’s full terms and conditions. No supporting documents are needed for the daily allowance itself, but complete travel itineraries showing name, dates, destination and ticket cost are mandatory. Approvals remain at HRD Corp’s sole discretion.
