Practical Mastery: Utilizing the On-the-Job Training (OJT) Scheme

The OJT scheme supports a trainer-to-trainee ratio of 1:1 up to 1:4, making it highly effective for targeted mentorship. Internal trainers can be compensated at RM50 per trainee per hour, providing an incentive for your best workers to mentor new recruits.

Unlike other grants, OJT applications can be submitted after the training session, provided it is within 6 months of the training completion date. This allows for flexibility in capturing the informal yet critical transfer of skills that occurs daily in your organization, from technical certifications to professional assessments under the Malaysian Board of Technologists.
