Local public programmes follow a simpler per-pax fee structure under the ACM, with clear ceilings for general courses and more flexible “as charged” rates for Focus Area, Industry-Specific and Professional Certification programmes.
General public courses are capped at RM1,750 per day per pax for a full day (7 training hours) and RM1,000 for a half day (4 hours). Focus Area, Industry-Specific and Professional Certification courses are claimable as charged and must be quoted on a per-pax basis. Trainee allowances follow the standard distance-based rates: maximum RM250 per day (under 100 km) or RM500 per day (100 km and above). Actual air-ticket costs are also reimbursable.
Supporting documents are straightforward: an invoice issued to HRD Corp for HCC schemes or a receipt for other schemes, plus ticket evidence and travel-agent invoice when air travel is claimed. No supporting documents are required for the trainee allowance itself. As with all ACM claims, amounts remain subject to HRD Corp’s rate of financial assistance and final approval.
